That jam is just amazing...I had this on an old CD bootleg back in the day & actually just found it again in a back-log of old discs...dug it out and dug the JAM!

also, the "Mountain Jam" they do (available i think on a diff. AUD recording somehwere here is astounding, too...)

slightly off topic, but does anyone hear a "Mountain Jam" lick or section of the tune in part of the "anthem of the sun" jam sections? I could swear Jerry hits the tune somewhere on "Anthem".

I listened to this on The GD Channel yesterday and noticed more than halfway through the possible/probable(?) "genesis" of the 2-chord "Fire On The Mountain" alternating sequence. Has anyone else made that connection?

yeah, jerry often quoted "first there is a mountain" during alligator in '68. i think that is before the allmans ever did "mountain jam".
